The Charters Hose Co. # 4 along with the Websters Hook and Ladder Co # 3 of the Ansonia Fire Department hosted an “Old Fashion Fireman’s Ball” at the Ansonia Armory, Saturday, April 30, 2011.
As volunteer firefighters the theme of the celebration was a tribute to firefighter families and past members:
“We dedicate this Program to our loved ones who allow us to share our precious time in making our fire company something to be proud of and our community a safer, better place to live. Also to our departed members, families, and friends who gave so much over the years so we could have so much today and, in turn, we can pass on to future generations.”
Pictured is the finale of the “Grand March” which is the singing of the “Star Spangled Banner.”
