In anticipation of the May 6 prom, Ansonia officials held a mock DUI crash at the high school Tuesday.
The event was coordinated by the Ansonia Police Department, the Ansonia Fire Department, and Ansonia Medical Rescue Services.
Juniors and seniors from Ansonia High School were in attendance.
School Resource Officer Michael Barry narrated the accident, explaining to students as the emergency responders arrived.
Life Star arrived to “transport” one student, who was critically injured.
