Prendergast School is seeking parents, senior citizens, high school students, and community members to read to students in Grades 3 – 6 once a week for 30 minutes.
If you are a parent, retired teacher, high school student, senior citizen, or a community member and would like to read to students in grades 3 – 6, please contact Liz Nimons at lnimons@ansonia.org or call 203- 736‑5080.
You can also print, fill out the letter posted below and return it to Prendergast School (59 Finney Street, Ansonia, CT 06401) to the attention of Liz Nimons.
We are asking people who have a vested interest in Ansonia students to donate 20 to 30 minutes a week to come and read to our students. Volunteers are accepted on a continuous basis.
