ANSONIA — A 28-year-old man faces a long list of drug charges after police raided his residence on Wednesday (March 29).
Daqwon Graham is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics within 200 feet of a school, and possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 200 feet of a school.
Police said they used a search warrant to lawfully enter Graham’s residence on Howard Avenue, which is the same road as Ansonia Middle School.
Police said they found large quantities of drugs in his residence — 448 grams of cocaine, 186 grams of crack and 10 grams of fentanyl — plus $100,000 in cash.
“The warrant was the result of a joint investigation into the distribution of narcotics,” according to a statement from Ansonia Police Lt. Patrick Lynch.
The DEA New Haven Task Force assisted in the investigation, along with New Haven Police Department Criminal Intelligence Unit & Shooting Task Force, and the Connecticut State Police Violent Crime Task Force.
