Ansonia PD Thanks Residents For Supporting ‘Stuff-A-Jeep’

On Saturday, Nov. 17th the members of the Ansonia Police Department conducted a STUFF-A-JEEP food drive at the Ansonia Stop and Shop on Division Street.

This event was extremely successful.

We collected three full Jeeps worth of food and delivered it to BH Care and Christ Church of Ansonia.

In addition, over $1,500 in cash was collected.

Precisely $940 of this money was turned into gift cards for groceries and the remaining money was used to purchase more food to be given to these agencies.

The members of the Ansonia Police Department would like to thank all of the individuals who donated food and cash to this very important event.

These items will be put to good use and will help needy families during the holiday season.

A second STUFF-A-JEEP event will be held at the Ansonia Stop and Shop on Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU TO ALL WHO GAVE AND HAVEHAPPY AND SAFE HOLIDAY SEASON.
