Monday, June 2, 2025

10:22 a.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Pulaski Highway and Upland Terrace.

12:57 p.m. A caller on Clark Street reported suspicious activity.

6:05 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Prindle Avenue and Pulaski Highway.

7:27 p.m. An alarm went off on Addison Street.

Tuesday, June 3, 2025

6:36 a.m. A caller on Clarkson Street lodged an animal complaint. 

3:26 p.m. A caller on S. Cliff Street reported that they were being harassed via an electronic device.

3:58 p.m. Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Crescent Street. 

10:27 p.m. Police received a report of hazardous road conditions on Wakelee Avenue.

Wednesday, June 4, 2025

8:59 a.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Elm Street.

1:19 p.m. Police were called to the scene of a reported car/dumpster fire on Hemlock Drive.

6:30 p.m. Police arrested a city employee, 52, who they believe stole more than $20,000 from an elderly resident. He was charged with first-degree larceny.

9:51 p.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Division Street.

10:45 p.m. Police arrested a preschool teacher, 32, and charged her with second-degree assault and risk of injury to a child. Read more here.

Thursday, June 5, 2025

10:00 a.m. A caller on Elm Street reported fallen utility wires.

10:35 a.m. Police arrested a 52-year-old Bridgeport man and charged him with multiple stalking-related crimes. He had previously been arrested by the U.S. Marshals and Bridgeport police. Read more here.

11:45 a.m. Police charged a 35-year-old woman with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

7:23 p.m. After conducting a traffic stop near Beaver Street and Myrtle Avenue, an officer charged a 28-year-old woman with driving on a suspended license, using an electronic device while driving, and failure to obey a stop sign.

Friday, June 6, 2025

6:04 a.m. During a traffic stop on Pershing Drive, an officer charged a 35-year-old man with driving on a suspended license and using an electronic device while driving.

9:15 a.m. Police arrested a 24-year-old Waterbury woman and charged her with animal cruelty, failure to comply with dog ownership requirements, and not obtaining a rabies vaccination for an animal. 

9:49 a.m. Police arrested a 34-year-old woman and charged her with assaulting a public safety official, disorderly conduct, and interfering with/resisting arrest.

11:20 a.m. On May Street, police arrested a 41-year-old Derby woman and charged her with violating a protective order and first-degree trespassing.

4:14 p.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries near Target.

Saturday, June 7, 2025

12:19 a.m. Police arrested a 32-year-old Oxford woman on Highland Avenue and charged her with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and third-degree criminal mischief.

11:06 a.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries near S. Cliff Street and Tremont Street.

1:11 p.m. A caller on Highland Avenue reported an incident of vandalism.

4:01 p.m. Police received a report of hazardous road conditions on Park Place.

4:16 p.m. Police arrested a 52-year-old man on Wakelee Avenue, charging him with violating the conditions of his release.

Sunday, June 8, 2025

1:27 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Pershing Drive.

5:28 a.m. Police arrested a 30-year-old Bridgeport man on N. Main Street and charged him with third-degree assault, risk of injury to a child, and disorderly conduct.

9:52 a.m. Police investigated potential credit card fraud on Rockwood Avenue.

5:28 p.m. Police received a report of shoplifting on W. Main Street. An officer charged a 28-year-old woman with sixth-degree larceny.

6:34 p.m. Police attempted to stop a motor vehicle on Franklin Street.
