ANSONIA – Here are some highlights from the Ansonia Police Department’s calls for service from May 19, 2025 through May 25, 2025.

12:52 a.m. Police charged a 33-year-old woman on Winter Street with disorderly conduct.
5:53 a.m. A caller on North Main Street lodged an animal complaint.
12:22 p.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Clifton Avenue and Division Street.
12:35 p.m. A caller reported shoplifting on West Main Street. Police charged a 44-year-old Seymour woman with sixth-degree larceny.

12:49 a.m. Police attempted to stop a motor vehicle on Prindle Avenue and Pulaski Highway.
7:17 a.m. A caller on South Cliff Street reported theft from a motor vehicle.
10:35 a.m. Police charged a 61-year-old Bridgeport man with forgery and third-degree larceny.
3:51 p.m. A caller on Francis Street reported suspicious activity.
9:44 p.m. A caller reported illegal parking on East Main Street.

8:21 a.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Fourth Street.
12:23 p.m. Police were called for an escort on N. Cliff Street.
3:47 p.m. Police conducted a traffic stop on Colony Street.
4:25 p.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Great Hill Road.

3:39 p..m. A caller on Rufus Street reported harassment over an electronic device.
3:44 p.m. A stolen vehicle was recovered.
4:27 p.m. A caller on Wakelee Avenue reported an incident of vandalism.

7:03 a.m. A caller on Grove Street reported theft from a motor vehicle.
9:02 a.m. Police received a report of a stolen license plate on Meadow Street.
7:11 p.m. After receiving a report of shoplifting, police charged a 22-year-old woman with sixth-degree larceny on West Main Street.
9:04 p.m. Police issued a summons for a 28-year-old Beacon Falls man on charges of driving an unregistered vehicle, using someone else’s identification, and driving without insurance.

9:02 a.m. A caller on Star Street reported vandalism.
10:56 a.m. Police attempted to stop a motor vehicle on Bishop Williams Court.
5:38 p.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on North Main Street and issued a summons to a 26-year-old New Haven man on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
8:44 p.m. Police arrested a 29-year-old man on Beaver Street and charged him with driving under the influence, illegally carrying a firearm while intoxicated, and failure to drive in the proper lane.
11:32 p.m. Police charged a 37-year-old Hamden woman with driving while her license is suspended, using someone else’s identification, and failure to obey traffic lights.

8:32 a.m. A caller reported disorderly conduct on Page Street. Police arrived and arrested a 43-year-old Bridgeport man, charging him with trespassing and violating a protective order.
9:47 a.m. An alarm went off on Hunters Lane.
5:51 p.m. Police were called for assistance by the Seymour Police Department.
7:12 p.m. Police conducted a traffic stop on Main Street.
9:03 p.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on North Main Street.
