Ansonia Police Department Blotter March 24, 2025 – March 30, 2025

ANSONIA This week there were 322 calls for service for the members of the Ansonia Police Department. There were 13 arrests, according to the blotter sheets between March 24 and March 30.

8:17 a.m. Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on N. State Street in which one of the vehicles left the scene.

10:04 a.m. Police responded to a reported crash near the intersection of Division and Main streets.

10:30 a.m. Police investigated the report of a theft from a building on Prospect Street.

12:15 p.m. Police received a report of suspicious activity on Summer Street.

3:46 p.m. Police received a report of an abandoned vehicle on E. Main Street.

11:31 p.m. Police responded to a crash on Pershing Drive.

March 25, 2025

12:30 p.m. Police set up a radar unit on Clifton Avenue.

2:47 p.m. Police received a disorderly conduct complaint at a residence on Holbrook Place.

1:15 p.m. Police received a 911 hangup call from a residence on Wakelee Avenue.

March 26, 2025

7:11 a.m. Police received a parking complaint on Main Street.

8:50 a.m. Police set up radar enforcement on Beaver Street.

11:03 a.m. Police checked out an assault complaint from a residence on Scotland Street.

1:43 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported on Howard Avenue.

5:36 p.m. Police received a complaint regarding an animal on Crescent Street.

March 27, 2025

9:37 a.m. Police received a report of illegal parking on Jackson Street.

5:51 p.m. Police responded to a crash on Pershing Drive.

9:32 p.m. Police investigated a report of suspicious activity on Ford Street.

March 28, 2025

1:02 p.m. Police responded to a car crash on W. Main Street.

3:11 p.m. Police received an illegal parking complaint on N. Prospect St.

5:21 p.m. Police were sent to a motor vehicle accident on Division Street.

9:33 p.m. Police set up radar on N. Main Street.

March 29, 2025

4:13 a.m. Police received a report of suspicious activity on Wakelee Avenue.

7:25 a.m. Odor of natural gas reported on Hughes Circle.

8:59 a.m. Report of vehicles abandoned on West Main Street.

3:20 p.m. Police received a disorderly conduct complaint on Great Hill Road.

March 30, 2025

2:24 a.m. A motor vehicle was reported on Lester Street.

2:40 a.m. A vehicle was reported stolen from Franklin Street.

9:19 a.m. Police checked out a suspicious activity report on Reichelt Terrace.

9:40 a.m. Police received a loitering report on Pershing Drive.

7:33 p.m. Police received a report of a brush fire or outside fire on Wakelee Avenue.
