Ansonia Resident Endorses Gentile, Crisco

For the past nine years, I have been working in close collaboration with the Department of Social Services, the State Board of Education and the Connecticut Commission on Women, Children and Seniors and it took years of hard work, consistency and true commitment for me to build and maintain these relationships.

Those who know me know that my priorities have always lied with doing what is best for our families and children and finding ways to help us thrive and succeed collectively as a town.

We are less than a week away from casting our vote on Election Day and although our country and our city are divided when it comes to the presidential election, we need to stand behind Representative Linda Gentile and Senator Joe Crisco. They have fought for and helped provide countless resources that have benefited our city in a number of ways.

In education alone, Representative Gentile and Senator Crisco have worked to secure $16 million for Ansonia and Derby for a total of $32 million toward education, while towns like Ridgefield, Brookfield, Easton, The Gold Coast and Shoreline voted against funding for our children.

Our representatives have always listened to our needs and have always been dedicated to fighting for our city in order to bring us the resources that we need. They were the ones who secured the millions of dollars of funding for the street paving on Main Street and West Main Street. Our representatives have proven track records of working hard to get us what we need and we need to maintain those relationships in Hartford in order for us to continue to progress.

We cannot afford to experiment with two new, inexperienced candidates who have no history of past performance or developed relationships in Hartford that will benefit our town and our people. Regardless of which party you support for the national election, we need to be united and cast our votes for Representative Linda Gentile and Senator Joe Crisco on Election Day.
