The Grand Opening of the City’s new, downtown Senior Center will be held Thursday, July 6th, 2023 from noon to 3 p.m. at 65 Main Street (Second Floor), Ansonia, Connecticut.
“Ansonia’s senior community deserves the best,” said Mayor David S. Cassetti. “This 11,000 square foot, state-of-the-art Center will provide seniors with access to exciting programs, amazing meals, and countless hours of enjoyment.”
The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, lunch served from the Center’s new kitchen, and a gathering of elderly service providers and program providers.
“I can’t wait to welcome Ansonia’s seniors to our fantastic new Center,” said Senior Center Director Christine Sonsini. “This amazing space allows so many opportunities for serving our senior population. A media room, computer lab, craft station, and gym space are just some of the amazing features at this amazing
new Center.“
