He was arrested using a warrant on Oct. 20 and was scheduled to appear in court yesterday (Oct. 23).

Dedrick, armed with a gun, tried to intervene in an altercation between his 47-year-old relative and her boyfriend on Sept. 17, according to a written statement from police.

There was a struggle over the gun and the female was shot once in the arm,” police said.
