The Ansonia tree lighting will take place at 6 p.m. on Dec. 3 at City Hall on Main Street.
The tree lighting is sponsored by the City of Ansonia and the Ansonia Cultural Commission.
The event will include a parade with Santa on a fire truck, featuring the Ansonia High School band and cheerleaders and the Human Relations club.
There will be songs, holiday vendors, free hot chocolate and cider, and refreshments while supplies last.
Music will be provided by DJ Phyllis Kaplan.
