The City of Ansonia will hold a tree lighting ceremony Friday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Park next to City Hall, 253 Main St.
The Cultural Commission’s Melissa Torres said in an email: “We are also doing a coloring contest, parents can download, have their children color it, and then upload to www.facebook.com/ansonia125. The winner will be the one with the most likes. Also children should only enter if they will be at the event since the winner will help with the count down and lighting of the tree alongside the mayor and Santa.”
