This Derby Public Library will once again be awarding its annual $500 scholarship prize to a graduating member of the Derby High School senior class who has shown a deep appreciation of literature and plans to further his/her education.
The Library Board of Directors will award the prize based on an essay explaining the role of libraries in the student’s life. Students may submit their entry either directly to the Library or though the high school guidance office.
