On Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 0930 am Assumption School is hosting a special Veteran’s Day prayer service for our favorite veterans. Assumption School students were asked to submit a photo of their favorite veteran to the main office for the wall of honor. The students were then asked to invite their favorite veteran to a prayer service and breakfast on Thursday.

Mrs. Rebecca Goddard, principal of Assumption School, stated, “We love our veterans here at Assumption School and what better way to honor them by a prayer service and breakfast on Veteran’s Day. The students are very excited for Thursday and I am as well. My father was a US Marine serving in Vietnam and my husband is a retired National Guardsman, serving 20 years.”
“Our motto here at Assumption School is to go forth and serve and you can see that by our wall of honor. There are many Assumption graduates on the wall and we are so very proud of them. We know that Assumption School instilled in them the values that directed them to serve their country. Two of our teachers have served in the military as well as countless parents and other relatives. “
