ANSONIA — On Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, Assumption School in Ansonia recognized 22 students for their kindness and leadership skills.
Assumption School teachers were asked to submit names of student that have exhibited kindness to their classmates and displayed leadership skills.
The students were called to the main office for the hour and given a box of school supplies donated by Staples in Milford. The students were congratulated on their honor and asked to continue to be kind.
“Our Assumption School students are taught kindness in all that we do and kindness is a true staple virtue of our faith. As Pope Francis once said, “God shares his love with simple, tender acts of caring,” Assumption School Rebecca Goddard said. “Our students model that behavior and although all of our students are kind, we like to recognize students that model that behavior day in and day out. Congratulations to this month’s award recipients and thank you to Staples in Milford for helping us celebrate them as well!”
