Award Winning Shelton Robotics Team Meets The Governor

On Aug. 27, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy welcomed Shelton’s SIS Robotic Revolution Team and their advisors to his office at the State Capitol in Hartford, where the team demonstrated their award-winning Smart Sticker” invention.

The invention indicates to consumers whether food may have become spoiled due to improper storage. 

The team, consisting of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students from Shelton Intermediate and Perry Hill Schools, visited the State Capitol for a tour of the building and visit with state officials.
