Whitney-Ann and Brian Bradshaw had their son, Matthew Joseph Bradshaw, baptized at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center in Shelton on Sunday, June 27.
What made the event more special was the presence of Matthew’s grandmother and Whitney-Ann’s mom, Rosemary O’Brien, a resident of the health center.
Father George Burnett of Assumption Church in Ansonia conducted the ceremony.
Matthew’s godparents are Kathy Coughlin of Orange and Kyle Shortell of Ansonia. Whitney-Ann and Brian reside in Cheshire.
The event was attended by several close family members, with a luncheon held afterward for all attendees in Bishop Wicke’s Family Room.
“I am so delighted that we were able to share this happy occasion with my mother and with our extended family at Bishop Wicke,” Whitney-Ann said.
Bishop Wicke Health Center provides short-term rehabilitation and long term care, serving approximately 400 individuals annually.
