There was another bomb threat at Shelton High School Thursday morning, according to police.
Students were evacuated, but not dismissed while police investigated the threat.
“They’re not getting sent home,” said Lt. Robert Kozlowsky.
The threat was conveyed through a note written on a bathroom wall, Kozlowsky said.
Once police clear the building, students will be let back into the school.
This is the fourth threat at a Shelton school in the past several weeks. All have been hoaxes.
On Oct. 21 students at the high school were dismissed early after a false bomb threat was made there.
Two students were arrested for the incident. The 16-year-old and 17-year-old female were charged with falsely reporting an incident, conspiracy to falsely report an incident and breach of peace.
Those students were expelled from the school yesterday, Kozlowsky said.
The day after the high school bomb threat, there was a bomb threat at the Shelton Intermediate School, causing an evacuation of all the students.
Police continue to investigate that incident, and have not made any arrests for it yet. The incident was also considered a hoax.
Then on Thursday, Oct. 28, there was a second bomb threat at the Intermediate School, police said. School officials and police were able to quickly determine the student who wrote the note and that it was a false statement, according to a press release issued Oct 28.
Police charged a 12-year-old female student with falsely reporting an incident, and breach of peace. Her name also was not released.
Last week, there was also a bomb threat at Seymour High School. That incident is under investigation.
