
SEYMOUR – It is time to stock up for your summer reading enjoyment! The Friends of the Seymour Public Library will be holding a used book sale, one day only, on Saturday June 28th from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. We will be open for Seymour Library Friends members only from 9:30 am — 11:00 am and for the general public from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Seymour Public Library is located at 46 Church St.
Our Children’s section has wonderful books with prices as low as $0.10 each, and the Young Adult section is at capacity. Come in and find some books for all your young readers to enjoy this summer. Our Fiction section is full with a great selection of mysteries, science fiction and romance available in both hardcover and paperback.
The history, religious and nonfiction as well as the autobiography sections have received many new donations. We have a large number of DVDs as well as music and books on CD all at the low price of $0.25 each. All of our jigsaw puzzles are priced at $2.00 each and we have a number of games for sale as well.
If you are not a member of Seymour Library Friends and would like to join, you can join when you shop the members only hours. Membership fee is $10.00 for the general public, $25.00 for a family and $5.00 for students and seniors 65 years old or older.
Donations for the Friends of Seymour library can be dropped off at the library anytime during regular library operating hours and we thank you for your donations. All the money raised from the book sales is used for the library. We hope to see you there!
