Bridgeport police have arrested a Shelton woman involved in the fatal car crash the killed Ansonia resident Darnell Cooks in June 2011.
Amanda Shaw, 22, was charged with second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, evading responsibility, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and three counts of second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, according to a report in the Connecticut Post.

Shaw was driving a black Acura Integra at about 1 a.m. June 19, 2011 near the intersection of Boston and Noble avenues in Bridgeport.
The car crashed into a BMW at the intersection. The CTPost reported that Shaw had been racing her car just prior to the crash.
Cooks, who was engaged to Shaw at the time of the crash, was in the front seat and a friend, Nigel Troupe, was in the back seat.
