Ansonia Police Department Investigating Recent Street Takeover
“The Ansonia Police Department is actively investigating a recent illegal street takeover that occurred within city limits on 4/26/2025. This reckless and dangerous event disrupted traffic, endangered public safety, and created significant disturbances in our community.
We are committed to identifying and arresting all individuals involved in organizing, promoting, and participating in this unlawful gathering.
Detectives are currently reviewing evidence, including surveillance footage and eyewitness statements, and are working with regional partners to further the investigation.
We are asking for the public’s help. If you witnessed the incident, have video recordings or photographs, or possess any information that may aid in the investigation, please contact us.
