An Ansonia man sustained a serious leg injury Saturday (April 13) after his motorcycle collided with a car.
The accident occurred about 9 p.m., according to Ansonia Police.
In a prepared statement issued Tuesday, Lt. Andrew Cota said Justin Godoy, 25, was headed east on Pulaski Highway when a car driven by Domenic Camilini, 70, of Seymour, collided with him while entering Pulaski Highway from Marshall Lane.
“The motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained serious leg injuries and was sent to Yale New Haven Hospital for his injuries,” Cota said. “A female passenger was also sent to the hospital for a report of pain.”
Cota said Godoy is listed in stable condition.
The case is still under investigation, he said.
