A man was taken to the hospital after suffering apparent carbon monoxide poisoning in a garage at a home on Seth Den Road in Oxford late Saturday.
Oxford fire officials confirmed the Valley Indy’s account Sunday afternoon, but the man’s identity and condition weren’t available.
Oxford firefighters and EMS crews were sent to the residence after receiving a report that a person had passed out. The call for assistance came in at about 10:15 p.m.
An arriving medic dragged the man out of the garage. A generator was in use in the garage, according to an emergency radio transmission.
Firefighters took air readings and vented the garage.
