Celebrate Shelton Returns With Fall Concerts

SHELTON — Celebrate Shelton is announcing Downtown Sounds: Fall Edition on Saturday, October 7th with The Alpaca Gnomes, along with Lee-Ann Lovelace Band, Hitch & The Giddyup, and School of Rock taking place at the Veterans Memorial Park in Shelton. The rain date is Sunday, October 8th. Gates open at noon.

You can expect incredible live music, delicious local food trucks, a beer and wine garden and children’s activities,” said Co-Founder Nicole Heriot-Mikula.

Co-Founder Jimmy Tickey noted, Because of our desire to continue to make our downtown a destination for families, we wanted to continue Downtown Sounds concerts into the fall, with even more local artisans!”

Co-Founder Michael Skrtic said, The concerts are free to attend, though there is a suggested donation of $10 to sustain Celebrate Shelton’s efforts in the community.“

There will be Paint A Pumpkin activity courtesy of Liberty Bank & Wells Hollow Farm and free rides on the Roaming Railroad from 1pm — 4pm! On site will be an artisan vendor village for fall shopping, and the food trucks include Reid’s BBQ, Sweetness Bites, Szabos Seafood and The Cinnabomb Mini-Donut Factory and more!
