A company whose signature product is something called a “chocolate pizza” is expanding to the Valley.
The new store will be located at 435 Coram Ave. in Shelton, according to a press release sent out by the Chocolate Pizza Company Wednesday.
Proprietors Wendy and Paul Hahn will open the location Oct. 15.
“We decided to open a Chocolate Pizza store because we really love the product and believe our community will as well,” Wendy Hahn said in the press release. “Paul and I are sure that everyone will love the unique offerings of Chocolate Pizza for gift giving, as well as for a special treat.”
The company gets its name for its “signature item,” a “premium chocolate blended with homemade English toffee poured into a round pizza shape.”
The pizzas are topped with almonds, pecans, walnuts, a white chocolate drizzle and served in pizza boxes.
Hahn is “excited about having our own business, being a part of the Chocolate Pizza Company family and selling a product that will make people happy.”
The company’s products are offered at more than 500 retail locations in 36 states, according to the company. It is based in Marcellus, NY.
