Christmas Fair, Tours at The Derby Historical Society

On Saturday, December 4, the Derby Historical Society will host its annual Christmas Fair at the David Humphrey House on 37 Elm Street in Ansonia, from 10 AM to 3 PM. The first floor of the Humpheys House, and gift shop, will be open, featuring tree ornaments, pomanders, watercolors, toys, and books. Christmas cookies will also be on sale.

Unique, custom-made American Girl and Bitty Baby doll clothes, including coats, hats, shoes boots, dresses, sweaters, party dresses and underclothing, as well as bedding, will be featured. These were made by members of the Derby Historical Society and are reasonably priced. This is a great opportunity to find unique items that can’t be found anywhere else for the person who is hard to shop for!

On Saturday, December 18, the David Humphreys House will be open for guided tours from 11 AM to 2 PM. Normal admission rates will be charged.
