On Friday, Nov. 27 (the day after Thanksgiving), the Historical Society will host its popular Churches by Lantern Tour.
Seating will start at Immanuel-St. James Church on Derby Green (the stone church with the red door), and by the light of punched tin lanterns we will visit Derby Methodist, St. Mary’s, and Second Congregational Church, ending with the tree lighting on Derby Green.
Tickets are $10.
A welcome, brief history, and musical program will be given at each church. Come, walk off that Thanksgiving dinner with us, for an enjoyable evening which is becoming a local holiday tradition!
