Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 2, and The Valley Indy is trying something new this year.
The plan is to publish a Valley Voters Guide on this website later this month, containing answers to a questionnaire The Valley Indy distributed Oct. 5 to political party leaders in Ansonia, Derby and Seymour (we don’t have enough funds to cover Oxford and Shelton).
We hope to receive answers from every candidate (except Ansonia Aldermen candidates) by Oct. 18 and post a short time later.
In Ansonia, instead of a written submission, we’re trying to arrange quick video interviews with every person running for the Ansonia Board of Aldermen. The interviews are scheduled to be conducted this week and next week, for publication sometime after Oct. 18.
