Earlier this month at Disney World in Florida, the Derby Pee Wees and Junior Midgets won the Pop Warner National Cheerleading Championships and the Jr. Pee Wees took third in their respective divisions!

“Both the Peewees and Jr. Midgets cheerleaders returned home from Disney World on Sunday, bringing with them huge trophies and bragging rights as national champs during the Pop Warner National Championship that took place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.
The Peewees competed last week against 13 others teams from across the country, while the Jr. Midgets out-cheered 11 teams nationwide to take the title. A third Derby team, the Jr. Peewees, finished with a respectable third place title, having competed against 15 other teams at the nationals.”
