State Rep. Theresa Conroy (D‑Derby, Seymour, Beacon Falls) announced that District 1199/SEIU, CSEA SEIU, AFSCME Council 4 and CSU-AAUP, representing tens of thousands of workers from all walks and professions, are supporting her candidacy for State Representative in this election.
“From healthcare and municipal, to employees in our educational system, all of the workers these organizations represent impact the many quality of life issues we work to address in Hartford,” Rep. Conroy said. “I am honored to be endorsed by the thousands of frontline workers we rely on every day.”
All of the organizations support the creation of good jobs as well as quality care services for adults and children with developmental disabilities and mental health issues; and in public health, corrections and other health care settings. They include professors and teachers that keep Connecticut on the map for cutting-edge skills and training of students across the state, and municipal employees that keep cities and towns running smoothly and also advocate for quality public services and a fair state budget.
Theresa Conroy said, “The people these organizations represent are those that make Connecticut a great place to live, work, and raise a family. I am very honored to be endorsed by all of them.”
