Coppola, Dulla To Be Honored In Derby

The Parent Child Resource Center (PCRC), leading provider of behavioral health services to children and families in the Lower Naugatuck Valley, is delighted to announce this year’s Mary Lou Cook and Joseph A. Pagliaro, Sr. awards that will be presented at PCRCs 36th Annual Awards Event on Thursday, March 8, 2012 being held at the Grassy Hill Lodge in Derby, CT.

Martha Dulla a native of Ansonia, received degrees from Albertus Magnus College and Quinnipiac School of Law and is now the successful owner of Grassy Hill Lodge in Derby, CT will be presented the Joseph A. Pagliaro, Sr. Award for distinguished service to children and families.

Martha’s many successes include serving the Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Valley United Way. Martha has served the Valley YMCA since 2006 and is currently Chairman of the Board. Martha has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Central CT Coast YMCA since 2008. Ms. Dulla is a dedicated supporter of PCRC and is currently serving on the committee for the upcoming First Annual Pedal for PCRC Cycling Event.

Linda Coppola is a native of Derby, CT. She has earned degrees from Southern CT State University and the University of Bridgeport in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership.

Linda served in the public school system for 37 years prior to her current leadership role as Principal of St. Mary-St. Michael’s School in Derby. Included in Linda’s public service involvement she is active with many organizations benefiting children and supporting education throughout the Valley such as American Association of University Women, Derby School Readiness Council, and Executive Board of Delta Kappa Gamma Society.

Linda was instrumental in obtaining the School Readiness Grant in 2004, providing free pre-school education for three and four year old children in Derby, CT. Ms. Coppola will be presented the Mary Lou Cook Award for outstanding service to children and families.
