Here is a look at some COVID-19 data that was posted online last Thursday by the State of Connecticut.
The data below includes the two-week average daily positive tests for COVID-19.
All lower Valley towns are out of the so-called “red zone” on the state’s per capita map, thanks to people getting vaccinated.
Please see ValleyIndy.org for multiple options on getting vaccinated. There are plenty of options, and walk-ins are now the norm.
The state’s overall positivity rate over the weekend was .9 percent, which is good.
In addition, the data below contains vaccination rates in the Valley, with a breakdown by age groups within each town. The data set does not include the 12 to 15 age bracket. That info will be included in the next data release, scheduled for Thursday.
Finally, there is also a list of cumulative deaths in the communities broken down by town since COVID-19 arrived in March of 2020. The list doesn’t include nursing homes and other congregate care facilities.
