On Time Screen Printing and Embroidery took a typical tour one step further and involved Cub Scout Pack 3 of Derby in the making of their shirts.
Business owners Michael Klein and Bret Riley taught the Cub Scouts how to create their own custom shirts with a specially designed logo.
The Cub Scouts also learned how their hats and stickers are made.
The Cub Scouts first learned how the screen printing press worked before lining up to put their shirt on a pallet. As they straightened out sleeves and made sure there were no wrinkles, parents crouched down to take pictures.
Once a shirt was perfectly placed, it was sent through the press to have the logo screened onto it. The Cub Scouts waited anxiously for each shirt to come out of the dryer.
In the next room they learned how the embroidery machines worked, watching in awe as their hats were stitched.
After each one finished, it was immediately claimed. The Cub Scouts tore off their old hats to try out the new ones, also sporting a specially designed logo.
Afterward, they were taken upstairs in groups of five. There they learned about the machines that cut their stickers on-site before taking some home.
