The City of Derby will dedicate its new Middle School at 5:30 on Thursday afternoon, January 21, in a ceremony to be held in the school’s Cafetorium.
Connecticut Commissioner of Education Mark McQuillan will head the list of guest speakers, which will also include Mayor Anthony Staffieri, Building Committee Chairperson and City Treasurer Keith McLiverty, Board of Education Chairperson Kenneth Marcucio, Principal Sally Bonina and Superintendent of Schools Stephen Tracy.
The Derby Middle School is located on Nutmeg Avenue in Derby, opposite the Derby High School. The public is welcome!
