Derby Dems: Let The Public See The Settlement

The Derby Democratic Town Committee delivered a letter to Mayor Anthony Staffieri’s office Wednesday morning saying the public should be allowed to see the proposed settlement between the city and former finance director Henry Domurad, Jr. before the Board of Aldermen take action on the issue at Thursday’s Aldermen meeting.

Domuard will be receiving money — but the amount of money he could receive has yet to be disclosed.

Executive sessions are meetings closed to the public. Legal strategy and active lawsuits are allowed to be discussed in executive session.
