It is that time to get ready to go back to school.
Families are shopping for supplies, clothing and other essentials while pictured here in the “wee hours of the morning” are Sean Wheeler of Derby’s Public Works Department operating the line painting machine while Kelly Dunne directs traffic.
They started the crosswalk painting project at 1a.m. Friday and were seen here at the corner of Cottage and Elizabeth Street around 5:45 a.m.
“The glow about them” was created when the flash bounced off their reflective vest.
