Derby Historial Society To Hold Discussion On WW I Memorials

DERBY — The Derby Historical Society is co-sponsoring a historical talk with the Derby Public Library.

Richard Franklin Donohue, a CT historian, will be presenting The World War One Memorials of Connecticut” on Monday, Sept. 9 at 6:30 pm. 

The event will take place at the Derby Public Library, located at 313 Elizabeth St, Derby, CT 06418.

After visiting and cataloging 220 monuments throughout the 169 towns in CT, Richard will share trends in their design and placement.
