Jeep owner John Turek of Derby believes he has pinpointed a defect within his 2011 Jeep Wrangler, NBC Connecticut reports.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is investigating model year 2007 through 2012 Jeep Wranglers due to reports of engine fires.
Turek believes the cause could be that the master fuel panel in his Jeep isn’t waterproof.
