MILFORD — Peter Manfredonia, the man accused in the shooting death of 23-year-old Nicholas Eisele in a Roosevelt Avenue apartment in Derby in May, appeared in court Thursday (Sept. 3).

Manfredonia is also accused of kidnapping Eisele’s girlfriend after the shooting. The crimes — coupled with an attack that killed a man in Willington — set off an intense manhunt at the end of May.

Manfredonia was eventually captured near a truck stop in Maryland. His next court date is Oct. 29.
