DERBY — Members of the city’s planning and zoning commission talked for about 38 minutes Nov. 16 about where to allow commercial cannabis businesses within the City of Derby, and what type of authority the P&Z may have over such proposals.
The discussion was led by Vincent McDermott, a senior vice-president with Milone & Macrboom, the city’s planning consultants.
McDermott provides an easy-to-understand big picture look at the newly-legal cannibas industry in Connecticut, and then focuses in on what types of zones uses might be allowed.
