DERBY — River Walk Social, an Elizabeth Street bar and restaurant that opened in August 2020, closed its doors Tuesday, according to a message posted to the business’ Facebook page.
“With heavy hearts, as of today, RiverWalk Social will be permanently closed,” according to the post. “This decision was not made lightly. We appreciate all of your continued support. We will miss every one of you. Thank you all so much.”
River Walk opened at 17 Elizabeth St. at the site of the former Archie Moore’s, a restaurant that closed in Derby in March 2020 after a 15-year run.
Tax records show 17 Elizabeth St. is owned by MCT Investors LLC, with
Robert Mastroni listed as the company’s principal. The Mastronis ran River Walk when it first opened, according to a previous Valley Indy story.
