Two students from the Derby Middle School were recognized by the Connecticut Association of Schools at the Aqua Turf in Southington on June 3,2013.
This “scholar leader award” recognizes one boy and one girl from each middle school in Connecticut who have shown great leadership in both school and the community.
Students awarded from Derby Middle School were Akshar Patel and Shannon Cayer-McCarthy.
