The third annual Derby Greenway Walk-A-Thon will be held Saturday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m.
The event benefits the Griffin Hospital Center for Cancer Care.
The 3.56-mile walk will run along the Derby Greenway, with the starting point across the street from BJ’s Wholesale Club on Division Street. Participants can register on the day of the event for $20.
The Walk-A-Thon is being run by the Polish Falcons of America, Nest 208 and Nest 36. The national fraternal organization supports physical fitness programs for youth and promotes the continuation of Polish culture and traditions.
