Here is your weekly update for 09-09-2024.
1. The Derby Police Department has issued the following traffic alert: Paving of Main Street (Route 34) at Route 8 is anticipated to begin this week. Please anticipate traffic delays, pay attention to signage, and be watchful for workers in the area.
2. The City of Derby will host the annual 9 – 11 Remembrance Ceremony on Wednesday September 11, 2024, at 6:00 pm on the Derby Green. All are welcome to attend.
3. The Water Pollution Control Authority bills were mailed last week. There is no increase in WPCA rates this year. You have until Oct. 1, 2024, to pay without interest charges. You can view & pay your bill online at www.derbyct.gov .
4. The Friday night free concert on the Derby Green will feature the Celtic sounds of The Alehounds featuring Derby Native Sean Conlon. We hope to see you on Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
