The Derby Police Department would like to announce the swearing in of our newest police officer, Jake Szymansky.
Officer Szymansky comes to our department as a transfer from the Stratford Police Department, where he started more than two years ago.
Jake is a long time resident of Shelton and graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with baccalaureate degree in criminal justice after transferring from the University of New Haven.
