On Saturday (Sept. 15) from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Quinnipiac University student volunteers will be standing outside the office of Connecticut Partnership for Children at 135 Main St. in Seymour, collecting diapers and wipes.
This event, entitled “Diaper Drive-By” is part of the Quinnipiac University “Helping Hands Day,” which sends student volunteers out in the community for a few hours to help non-profit organizations with whatever they may need.
During the event, anyone who would like to donate new and unopened diapers and wipes, or gift cards to grocery stores, or BJ’s, Walmart, or Target, will be able to drive right up and hand their donations out their car window.
There is no need to park your car, the students will be ready to collect the items. At this time, CTPFC is in desperate need of pull-ups sizes 2T-5T, all genders.
We also appreciate gift cards as they help toward the purchase of diapers and wipes in bulk.
CTPFC, Inc. is a non-profit 501©3 organization that is dedicated to supporting low-income children throughout Connecticut, by working with their families and the communities in which they live.
