Up next for Downtown Now! is the Charrette, a five-day interactive design workshop taking place the week of November 14.
At the Charrette, members of the DPZ team will put pen to paper, giving shape to the ideas that have been collected from the community leading up to this point. These ideas will be married with objective external data for a plan that is in sync with site conditions and economic realities. The final plan will be a true collaborative effort, with members of the public playing an important role in the design process.
I urge you to join us for the scheduled public meetings. You are likewise encouraged to drop-in during the week to interact with members of the design team as they create the plan that you have informed. Please bring your friends and family along for what is certain to be an exciting week for the future of Derby!
