Shelton police are searching for a driver who struck a child with his pickup truck then drove away from the scene.
The 11-year-old boy was hospitalized with “non-life threatening” injuries, police said.
Lt. Robert Kozlowsky said the incident happened on Kneen Street at 4:45 p.m. Sunday.
The evading vehicle was described as a green pickup truck, with a trailer attached.
