The two candidates for Derby mayor will be guests Monday morning on “Valley Navel Gazing,” this publication’s weekly talk show.
The show starts at 9 a.m. and runs about 52 minutes.

Derby Mayor Anita Dugatto, a Democrat, is running for a second, two-year term in office.
Republican Richard Dziekan, a retired Hamden police officer and member of the Derby tax board, is the challenger.
The pair will answer questions and discuss Derby issues with Valley Indy reporter Eugene Driscoll from the WNHH studio in New Haven.
In addition to streaming live, the broadcast will be carried live on 103.5 FM, WNHH in New Haven.
The show will then be available at ValleyIndy.org, on Sound Cloud and on iTunes.
This is the first time candidates for Derby mayor have appeared together to answer questions with an audience since 2009, at least.
